FARMER CITY - Richard "Bruce" Kendall of Farmer City passed away at home on Jan. 29, 2025. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.Bruce was born on May 19, 1950, in Bloomington, to Reynale John "Duke" and Esther Ruth (Bunting) Kendall. He graduated Moore Township High School with the Class of 1968, and was a long-standing member of the Sons of the American Legion.He was best known for his lifetime of service at the Farmer City post office, where he was always ready to strike up a conversation, tell a joke or share an outlandish story or two. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people smile. He was also very generous and cared deeply for those around him who needed help.Bruce attended the Vineyard Church in Urbana for decades until he was no longer able to do so. He was also an avid follower of Joseph Prince Ministries, which he watched daily. Bruce would readily talk about his love for Christ and share Joseph Prince's message of God's grace to those aro
